I have this awesome USB for iPhone and iPad...well until it died today.
How it works; The disk can transfer files via USB function from cellphones to Laptops (naturally-its not some nerd wizardry or dark arts-just plain old supply and demand science)
Last use; student was moving a voice recording (for an assignment) to it so I could retrieve it and mark it on the laptop. Done this almost 1000 times...maybe that is the problem? Too much of something good-is bad?
Troubleshooting; I tried reformatting the disk; I tried plugging the disk into multiple devices. In all cases, it says the disk is there but it is "unrecognizable"; suggestion to reformat/format disk. I tried (FAT)-nothing.
I can still eject the disk safely though...
Thoughts; ugh-toast, but why?
I need to pick up the disk from work and try to follow this wikipage on diagnostics for the USB disk; updates to come.
